This new style has been forging for a couple of years, and is now taking on more prominence than ever. If you ask what is the Japandi style, it is a balanced combination of the Japanese style and the Nordic style.

The style Japandi combines the differences and similarities of these two great styles in such a way that the tuning and rapport is perfect. On the one hand, it takes the simplicity, tradition and harmony of the Japanese style and on the other hand, the minimalism, comfort and neutral colors of Nordic style . Obtaining as a result much more than a style, a philosophy of life .

The Japandi style is interested in the beauty of imperfection, craftsmanship and raw materials and simple and natural elements.

2. Materials

WOOD

As a first material, we highlight wood. It has always been and continues to be a predominant material in the manufacture of furniture and decoration elements due to its durability and versatility.

Depending on the type of wood we choose, we will obtain a different style: rustic, vintage, duvet…

Among the most commonly used types of wood for interior decoration are beech or pine, oak, ash, maple and cherry wood. Although ecological or recycled wood has been on the rise for some time now, it is an option with the same decorative potential and generates less environmental impact than other types of wood.

Without a doubt, wood is the protagonist in most styles and rooms. And it can be the perfect ally, whether you are thinking of the decoration of your room, of your bedroom, of your kitchen or of your house in general.
