The U joint

by Simone Affabris

Suitable for cabinetmakers

The U joint’ is a collection of three design shelves made of walnut and light oak wood and designed by Italian product designer Simone Affabris. This collection is a rustic and simple style option, but with great personality.
The connection between the shelf support and the walnut panel is a detail that makes this product unique and aesthetically pleasing. The goal was to have a product that could be easily stored and assembled.
However, the type of wood chosen by the designer is light oak and walnut, but the different types of wood can be for example beech, birch or ash.
